How accurate is the estimate?
Roadtrip uses the driving route, current average fuel price for the starting country, and the estimated efficiency of your exact vehicle. Real-world traffic, weather, driving style and station prices can change the final cost.
Does it work with diesel, hybrids and electric cars?
Yes. Roadtrip identifies the vehicle’s fuel type and applies the matching petrol, diesel or electricity price. New Zealand road-user charges are included where they apply.
Can I split the fuel cost with friends?
Yes. Choose up to eight people and the result will show both the total trip cost and each person’s share.
